An MRI system represents a sizeable investment in capital. MIS has worked with facilities providing the quality service that investment deserves. MIS has experienced resources, with a combined 50+ years of MRI service experience at our disposal. Much of our training and experience was obtained by some of the largest OEMs in the MRI business.
In addition to both service contract and hourly billed service responses to emergency service needs, MIS can provide thorough planned maintenance inspections. Our PM checklist is the product of years of experience and includes both system level performance checks, mechanical inspections, and safety checks. Regular planned maintenance checks might be the difference between your system being down due to a preventable repair, or being able to schedule a time for proactive repairs at night, so your system is up and running during the day.
MIS can provide cold head and compressor troubleshooting and replacement service. The benefit of OEM training and years of experience, means you have access to a high quality, cost effective alternative to the OEM. We support the Sumitomo, Leybold and Balzers cold head systems and can assist in identifying and correcting helium boil-off problems not related to cold head performance. MIS has provided cold head replacement service across the U.S. in both fixed site, and mobile systems.
We maintain a close working relationship with Air Products and Chemicals, the provider of all our cryogenic material needs.
MIS can provide single or multi-year contracts that allow piece of mind and insure a stable and productive imaging platform. A Service Contract also allows you to budget your annual cost for service.
